Part II: Job Summary 

 

The Branch Manager is fully responsible for managing the branch operation and performance, underwriting process, customer service and cross-functional coordination. He/she has to ensure target achievement of the branch within its budget and seeks growth opportunity in assigned area and manage additional responsibilities/ projects assigned from time to time. 

Branch Manager plays one of the key management positions in Branch Network Department.

 

Part III: Key Accountabilities

 

- Credit process - Ensure the underwriting and loan process is operated smoothly, professionally and in compliance with Credit policy and business code.  

- Customer service quality - Ensure the best quality of customer service wherever customers are met & serviced from approaching potential customers to dealing customers with delinquency.

- Expense control - Monitor and prepare report to track expenses within budget and favorably against national branch benchmarks. Track branch cost efficiency ratio vs. plan vs. KPI vs. branch benchmarks subject to branch data availability from Finance Department.

- Risk management – Take responsible for managing possible risks may arise from daily operation. Ensure to implement all necessary actions to prevent, identify and escalate all frauds in the branch, both internally and externally to relevant departments.

- Analysis and Report - Analyze and report branch performance to ensure that branch performance is recorded, analyzed and reported to Department Head on a regular basis with accuracy and in time-bound manner, along with comments and recommendations

1. Education Background: University Graduate, Finance & Banking, Business management qualification is preferred or relevant qualifications

2. Minimum Experience: Min 5 years of banking/consumer finance or relevant industry or business function

3. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill, Abilities)

- Basic knowledge: Consumer finance or banking is preferred             

- Competencies: Interpersonal, Leadership, Business Management

Assistant Branch Manager

Reporting to Regional Branch Network Manager plays one of the key management positions in Branch Network Department

 

Part III: Key Accountabilities

 

1. Credit process

- Ensure the underwriting /loan process is operated smoothly and professionally in compliance with Credit policy, Business code and Company’s guidelines.

- Be in charge of generating and sending daily reports to team to track team performance (i.e. loan application approval) vs. monthly assigned target.

- Support Branch Manager to supervise Relationship Officers productivity and Couriers/Admin Staff daily performance.


2. Loan approval as per sanction limit delegated by Credit & Risk Department

3. Customer service quality - To ensure the best quality of customer service wherever customers are met & serviced from approaching potential customers, customers scheduled for interviews with Relationship Officer to dealing customers with delinquency

4. Portfolio management/ Collection activities

- Responsible for managing customer portfolio/ collection activity against targets given to the branch; alert or give timely notifications to Credit & Risk Department or other authorized persons about any issues/potential fraud or misrepresentations.

- Lead, supervise and support Relationship Officer(s) activity

5. Other assignments

- Support Branch Manager in other daily activities such as reject/cancel review; carry out ad-hoc assignments and projects assigned by Branch Manager or Head of Branch Network.

- Use expertise to answer questions, resolve or escalate issues from junior team members to Branch Manager/Department Head with suggested solutions.

 

 

Part VI: Job Specification / Possible Profile

 

1. Qualification - University degree majored in Finance & Banking, Business management qualification is preferred or relevant qualifications

2. Work Experience - Minimum 04 years working experience in consumer finance, retail banking, or financial services

3. Knowledge:

- Basic knowledge consumer finance or banking is preferred

- Competencies: Interpersonal skills, leadership, business management and presentation skill; strong organizational and customer service skills; detail-oriented; ability to work in a flexible and productive environment; team player with a positive and “can-do” attitude, ability to communicate in a proactive and timely manner, good analytical ability.

4. Skills:

- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point). Strong Excel skills is a big plus

- Languages capability: good verbal and written Vietnamese; English is a plus

5. Others:

- Practical working experience in a business-driven culture and customer service-oriented atmosphere.

- Positive mind and attitude; able to learn and train/coach junior staff on the job; lead by example.

- Ability to work professionally in a business-driven culture and customer service-oriented atmosphere; support Branch Manager to make sure the team act and work accordingly.

- Experience in team (up to 10-15 staff) management, ideally within the financial sector.

- Ability to lead and motivate/ inspire staff to meet business targets and any assigned tasks considered important to business by line manager and the management.

DTH Manager

Number Subordinates    : DTH (“Direct-to-Home”) ROs & KYC Officers (Know-your-customer Officer) 

 

Part II: Job Summary

 

To manage the operation and performance of ROs and KYC Officers based at Ho Chi Minh Branch; customer service and cross-functional cooperation/ coordination. 

 

Part III: Key Accountabilities:

 

- Credit process – To ensure underwriting & KYC operations smoothly and professionally at Ho Chi Minh and assigned SIPs (team size may be changed overtime). Maintain highest integrity in underwriting and operating credit process.

- Customer service quality - To ensure the best quality of customer service wherever customers are met & serviced. To promote Customer First culture.

- Expense control – Responsible for expense reports and track expenses in line with cost-to-income ratio KPI.

- Risk management - Responsible for managing possible risks that may arise from daily operation. To implement all necessary actions in order to prevent, identify and escalate all frauds of the team both internally and externally.

- Analysis and Report – Responsible for analysis and report of team performance to ensure that team performance recorded, analyzed and reported to Department Head on a regular basis with accuracy and in time manner, along with comments and recommendations

- Ad hoc – To participate in ad hoc projects; lead innovations at workplace (incl. constantly streamlining work processes, esp. DTH-related ones.).

Relationship Officer

Job Title                     : Relationship Officer (RO)

Department                : Branch Network (Underwriting)

Location                     : HCM City/ Ha Noi/ Bac Ninh

Report to                    : Branch Manager/DTH Manager

 

Part II: Job Summary 

 

The job holder needs to handle underwriting process by face-to-face/tele interviews with customers, ensure the applications and attached documents to comply with Company Credit Policy and recommend to Branch Manager for final approval/decision. He/she needs to maintain the assigned portfolio to meet KPIs and offer best customer service to customers.

 

Part III: Key Accountabilities 

 

- Arranging face-to-face or tele-interviews with customers – Setting appointments with assigned customers, guiding customers what need to be prepared for a productive interview. Verifying the documents against the original ones to ensure the requested documents are in line with company credit policy.

- Budget analysis process and underwriting – Performing budget analysis with customers to ensure all related factors have been taken into account and comply with Company Credit Policy. Using common sense and owned experience to find out the facts that could help preventing frauds…

- Customer service – Ensuring all procedures, documents are well prepared for customer to sign once the application is approved. Reminding them of their key responsibilities and well handled all related questions from customers…

- Maintaining customer portfolio – Managing whole portfolio of customers who have been interviewed by this job holder and approved afterward. Ensuring all related KPIs are met efficiently and timely.

As the business growth and maturity, he/she could be promoted to take bigger scope of work within the branch or in other Credit functions such as Credit Operations or relevant divisions…

KYC Officer

Job Title                      : KYC (“Know Your Customer”) Officer

Location                      : SIPs (“Service Introduction Point”): Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Thu Duc, Ha Nam, Ha Dong, Da Nang

Report to                     : DTH Manager(s)

 

Part II: Job Summary 

 

The key purpose is to perform KYC on customer information (identity, financial, residence) at loan closing stage or prior to underwriting (ie loan discussion and offer) by RO (based in HCM, HN or Danang) to prevent identity theft and possible defaults. KYC is conducted either face to face or via phone. 

Maintain the assigned portfolio and offer best customer service to customers. The role reports to DTH Manager. As the business grows and matures, the person in the role could be promoted to take bigger responsibility in Branch Network or other departments of the business as relevant. 

Carry out other support tasks as assigned by DTH Manager.

 

Part III: Key Accountabilities

 

- Perform KYC activity at loan closing stage or prior to underwriting.

- Customer service – To ensure all procedures, documents are well prepared for customers to sign loan contracts if the application is approved by underwriter and approver. Remind customers of key responsibilities and well handle all related questions from customers.

- Maintaining customer portfolio – Managing whole portfolio of customers who have been KYC’ed by this role (and approved afterward). Ensure all assigned KPIs are met
