Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for managing Collection MIS to support Collections Team Lead and Collection Head for SVFC portfolio
  • Development and enhancement of all Collection MIS and models for portfolio analytic and summary.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of collection information in order to perform business analyzed internally and externally.
  • Work with various functions to remedy data issues identified through various actions.
  • Perform ad-hoc and on-going analysis/tests related to collection strategies and portfolio performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of various levels of strategic segmentation, including credit loss, delinquency reporting and recovery collection, short and long-term forecasting of delinquency, loss measures and recoveries.
  • Pro actively develop SAS script to enhance business report as well as improve degree of Automation.

Job Specification / Possible Profile

1.   Education Background     

- Bachelor’s Degree required

2.   Minimum Experience

 

- 3-5years related work experience in Banking and Financial Institutions

3.   Knowledge

 

- Collection background is a plus

4.   Skills

- Knowledgeable on SAS program and Microsoft Access and Excel is a MUST.

Collection Analytics Executive

Job Summary

As the Junior Collection MIS Analyst, your main accountabilities will include generating, updating, monitoring, maintaining and enhancing accuracy of MIS data, ad-hoc and regular reports; supporting collection departments for improving and controlling collection performance and productivity to maximise Collection and Recovery performance; regularly reviewing the impact of new strategies by providing analytics reports.

Key Accountabilities

 

- Interpret data, analyse results using excel/ SAS/ SQL and provide ongoing reports

- Work on data collection systems/ Management Information System (MIS), data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

- Manage the accuracy and on-time update of Collection monitoring report to support the operation of Collection.

- Regularly monitor the Collection portfolio to ensure delivering highest portfolio performance

- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns.

- Understand and conduct ad-hoc and on-going analysis/tests related to collection strategies and portfolio performance;

- Work with leadership to prioritize business requirement and information needs.

- Together with other team members, regularly enhance SAS script and performance of automated Collection MIS reports, ad-hoc and analyses.

- Coordinate with other related functions to implement strategic changes in Collection Operation, including technical development with IT.

Job Specification / Possible Profile

  1. Qualification:

- University Graduated, major in Statistics/Math, Computer Science or MIS.

  1. Experience:

- Proven working 1+ experience as a data analyst or business data analyst

- Strong knowledge of Excel

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

- Have experience in using the analytical tools such as: Excel, SAS, Oracle… applied for Finance/ Banking industry.

  1. Knowledge:

- Having knowledge of: SAS, Oracle, SPSS is a plus.

  1. Skills:

- Good analytical skills;

- Good at visualizing MIS/ dashboard;

- Strong in numbers;

Collection Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Report directly to National TC Unit Head/Collection Head

Key Accountabilities

- Establishing a good rapport with the Field collection team/Planning/Strategy on forming strategies to be implemented and secure feedbacks and support each other to improve general performance.
- Conducting monthly projection on workload, headcount and performance on every working period.
- Checking and reviewing the DAILY Collection Performance Tracker, Productivity per Bucket and Daily Collector’s Reports.
- Discussing and strategizing with team on how to improve the collection performance and new strategies to be implemented to tide the gap.
- Conducting spot checking and reviewing of TC daily activities report, recording system specially those who are not meeting the minimum requirements per day and with poor collection performance.
- Assisting the National TC Unit Head/Collection Head on conducting training for new hires and refresher course on tele collection for the veterans. This can be in classroom training and actual cases.
- Ensuring all DAILY TC activities follow company policies and Collection code of conduct.
- Ensuring 100% coverage of cases allocated to tele collection. Monitoring the endorsement from TC to field collector.
- Escalating any integrity issue or Fraud cases found to Collection Head.
- Motivating and driving the team to meet the targets set every month by proper coaching and guidance.
- Supporting in interviewing/evaluating qualified candidates for tele collectors/team leaders/supervisor when needed.
- Managing the Team’s capacity for the year.

Job Specification / Possible Profile

1. Education Background University graduated, preferable business course degree holder
2. Minimum Experience Min 3 years collection experience as team leader/supervisor/manager
3. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge , Skill, Abilities) Consumer finance business, collection system
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with a diversify of individuals at all organization levels
PC proficiency and excellent organization skills
Ability to speak and write in English at advance level
4. Other: Integrity, innovative, customer service, collaborative
Should be confident, aggressive and have a flair for Team Management
