Shinhan Finance is implementing a cardless withdrawal feature through a withdrawal code on iShinhan application.

From January 27, 2024, customers will have the opportunity to immediately experience a cardless withdrawal feature through the method of generating a withdrawal code by iShinhan application when registering for a new Shinhan Finance’s credit card.

The withdrawal code generation on the iShinhan is developed to provide customers with an extremely convenient and secure digital experience. Specifically:

Customers who register for a new Shinhan Finance’s credit card will also own a virtual card version within the iShinhan and ready for use upon card activation. With a simple registration process, customers can effortlessly and successfully create a withdrawal code on iShinhan with a limit of up to 100% and proactively convert to installment payments quickly for up to 48 months.

The withdrawal code generated by iShinhan can be used to withdraw cash at VPBank’s counters, and it is entirely free of charge for cash withdrawals.

Note:

• The withdrawal code feature on iShinhan is applicable only to customers who open a credit card from January 27, 2024, and is valid for 30 days from the issuance date. After this period, the withdrawal code feature will be become inactive. Instead of that, Customers can use the physical card to withdraw cash at the ATM.
• The withdrawal code is valid within 5 days from the day of generating code successfully on iShinhan.
